I just got a kick out of it. I don't understand why the girlfriend would spend $50 on something that doesn't do anything (a purse for example), but I have no problem spending $1000 on mods because they are useful. Really they aren't that useful, but I just like em better.

What is the point if the driver isn't good enough to get all that power to the ground quickly. Something at the end about loosing to a guy that was boosted and running an air shifter. hmm manual versus airshifter probably made a huge difference. That said, when he gets tired of it he can give it to me. That would cut my commute in at least half.

I'm far more enamoured with some of the hybrids on the LS1 site.. There's a guy who is cramming a worked LS1 into a Z24 cavalier!! And another with a sub-2000lb. car with a 570hp supercharged LS1... that's insane. I guess I always root for the underdog..
