Where do you post your cars for sale?

I haven't sold anything other than my Silverado in a little while and that sold in 24 hours on craigslist. Where else are you selling/posting your cars online? I have my TJ for sale on here, craigslist raleigh, and some FB groups, but curious about other places that have worked well for you all.

I still have the bets luck with Autotrader for anything newer or over $10k.
There list until it sales is great.

Offroad rigs and toys I do a few forums. Anything else I've never had luck with selling online. Parked by the road has worked best for me.

I start with forums usually....and offer it for what I really need out of it.

Then I move to craigslist and have to add 10% because of the folks that HAVE to haggle in order to feel they've accomplished something in life (I fookin hate haggling)

And if it hasn't moved in 3 weeks THEN I post it on FB...and ironically, 3 of the last vehicles I sold were to friends on FB....I don't know why I just don't START there

But my friends know how anal I am about maintenance and upkeep. There's usually someone I know that is willing to buy what I'm selling.

Haven't used AutoTrader or Ebay in about 15 years

I was thinking autotrader, but its an 04 TJ with 75k miles. Figure once the weather is warm I might try that.

FB hasn't done crap for me. I was figuring it would probably sell on craigslist, I just have it priced high for right now.

1998 K1500 - by the road in 2012
1994 F150- by the road in 07
2006 Accord- Autotrader 2010ish guy flew in to buy it. Rare-ish package 2dr w/ v6 manual

I'm starting to like craigslist more than facebook groups. Facebook groups are crazy.

You never want to shoot yourself in the foot right out of the gate

I don't need to sell it. Ideally I just want to find a trade for a buggy. When it gets warmer I'll have more motivation.

Facebook groups just seem to have so much crap on them/going on, I never know what one to post in. And I think FB people are worse than craigslist people for the most part

FB groups seem to accumulate dozens of comments from people that have no intention or possibility to buy it but feel the need to share their opinion on it. I've sold my last several vehicles thru word of mouth and on here. Wifes car went to a good friends sister, car before that went to a member on here, and my jeep wasn't even for sale but a member on here asked me if I'd take a cash offer so I let it go.
Any vehicle I get rid of starts here, with a special price and then I go to craigslist a little later.
FB would probably be good for a trade, within the right group.

Man fix the body damage and pressure wash the underbody. Repaint underbody and slap on some cheap new shocks . Detail the hell out of it and sell it for 15k.

Assume you are talking to me? Fixing the body issues i'm not interested in doing. Maybe I'll slap some rear corner armor on it which will fit 75% of it. Also, no reason for new shocks, they are pretty new. I do need to clean it up again though, I plan to do that soon.

I may actually pick up this armor for the front - Jeep TJ Rocker Guards 97-06 Wrangler TJ/LJ TNT Customs | Jeep Aftermarket Parts | TNT Customs then get some rear guards as well. Should clean it up nicely.

Gotcha. Yeah I am debating on getting the armor for it. Honestly if I keep the Jeep which I am fine with since it is driving great now on the street, I wanted the armor anyways.

"For sale for $15,900, but I'll take $14,000"

Well then good sir, my first offer is going to be $12,500.

Really? Your negotiating skills suck if my limited memory serves me correctly.

I cant remember the last one that didn't get sold to the crusher or leave one piece at a time.

I've sold pretty much everything on CL. 2 trucks, a car, a bucket truck, countless motorcycles. Have sold 1 car to a friend, and 1 to a neighbor. Timing just worked out for those.

lol I just realized the last time I actually sold a car was 10 years ago, around 2007.
