Alright, me and my business partner have been remodeling houses since January and we have come across a bunch of appliances (Refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers). Most of which are in pretty good shape. Our original plan was to clean them up and sell them for an easy profit. But our problem is we are running out of room to keep them until they are sold.

So does anybody know of a place (around Winston or Greensboro) that will buy used appliances. I know that these places have to turn a profit so I am prepared to let them go cheaper than I want, but I dont have a choice unless I let them get ruined by sitting outside.

just post them on CL
Some are posted on CL... But there are SO many on there that we rarely get calls, and the shop is running out of room. I also have a 10x10 storage unit that's filling up, and a few on trailers in the yard.
We have a couple of those places around Salisbury...generally pay 25% of market value.
Salisbury isn't to far for me...if I can load up the trailer with items it may be worth my time

If the alternative is only getting 25% of market value - why not just list them on CL at 50-75% value, beating everybody else? You'll still offload them quickly and not have to bother w/ moving them yourself.

Have you tried Wagner Appliance on Waughtown St in Winston-Salem?

I went to Wagner and they aren't buying right now

I reckon I'm dropping the price on CL and see what happens

Do you have any pics, I have a friend that might buy some. He has a huge warehouse full of stuff he sells in his store. He mainly deals in new or store returns he buy in bulk at auctions, but I've known him to get used stuff. I'll show him some pics. We are in Sanford but if the price is right he might pick them up.

I'll try and get some pictures this afternoon
And I don't mind delivering

I'm looking for a really cheap working washing machine for my in laws if you have anything like that.

I dont have any washer/dryers. When we get the house it is usually empty of those appliances.
But If I come across any washers I'll be sure to let you know.

That'd be appreciated.... They're on hard times right now and could use it.

Not sure if Lisa uses it but Kayla sends me crap from offer up all the time. May have luck on there.

I don't think she does, but I'll look into it.

I may have it figured out though. I'm ganna call somebody today that may take the lot.

Saw on a yard sale page this morning, there's a dude in King who has one for $50. Looks like a decent Whirlpool, not too old. Get on a couple of your local Facebook yard sale pages. You can still find some good deals there.
