I have a 1995 XJ.

All of a sudden my XJ will not start. I have power to the headlights, door locks, fuse panels, etc... but when i turn the ign switch on i get nothing that i should, like gauges, radio, windows, etc. I have replaced the ign switch and checked all the fuses in both places. What could be the problem?

solenoid/start relay

not intimately familiar with that vehicle but it sounds like one the two is out and not powering accessories

if it was the start relay shouldn't i still be seeing gauges?

Put a new battery in it

checked all connections, bypassed battery, bypassed all battery connections, same issue. any other thoughts?

yea its called the crank shaft positioning sensor or the neutral safety switch has gone.. both gave me the same issue at differnt times.

put the Jeep into Neutral and try to start jeep.. you may need to push the handle a little forward while in neutral .. if is starts then it is you safety switch..
