That is correct we were invited to go wheeling with Xtreme 4x4 TV to help break in 2 of there project rigs (The Cheap Jeep & Project AJ)

With the support of iMPAKS, LLC; Ellis Off Road; Carolina Rock Shop; and 4x4 Review we set out to assist Xtreme 4x4 TV in the Shake down run in any way possible.

I must admit that Ian and Jesse have the best jobs in the world. The coolest part about them and their jobs was that they were so laid back and just all around great people to hang out with, wrench with, and shoot the shit. Lastly, their producer and camera guys were great to work with as well.

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Xtreme 4x4 TV, Ian, Jesse, Tom, Moe and Hutch. Thanks for letting us tag along and we hope to do it again someday.

We had a lot of fun and got to meet some great folks.

Show Airs this Sat and Sun at 1pm EST on Spike TV

:stupid: Very nice. How did they get in contact with you guys to do something like that? I would have loved to been there and see watched the festivities.

Glad yall had a good time. Sucks cause I got invited but couldnt make it. This only makes me wish more i could have gone.

Yeah, we had a blast hanging out with everyone. It should be fun to see some local guys on TV when the show airs.

Man Stone you are a brave man to let Andy out with your rig.... :D

Yeah, it worked out awesome that Reed let me borrow the beast. Didn't have any real major problems with it and it did real well for us.

Jesse and Ian are pretty cool people to talk to as well. We shipped them out a steering box brace that will be installed in an upcoming show. Shameless plugs can't hurt....:)

i was kinda confused when i saw andy in reid's buggy. now im lookin forward to seeing the local guys on TV. :smokin:

i was more worried about my ctd makin up there and back then the buggy! i am glad it all worked out. i just looked at the pics, it looks like it was a good time....

It bothered me SO MUCH watching that show that the boggers were on backwards!! That and the fact its got revolver shackles all the way around. and lockrights in both stock axles w/ 35's?? they'd better be gentle w/ it. BUT it is way cool that you got to hang out with them. tell them to turn the tires around. it's killing me.

I must admit that it is very funny how so many people are bothered by that.. I saw run what ya got and run it anyway you want as long as you are on the trail wheeling :)

boggere - maybe less traction for the front ? kinda lessen the traction some and help the front last longer.. kinda like pursposuly not airing down a whole lot.....

cool beans on the trip... can't wait to see the show

it really is not that bad :)

but what we did find out was that they did not have a lot of say on the 1st episodes.. they were written and set up by the sales team who know nothing about 4x4's.. so I am hoping it gets better now that they have more say to what projects to work on..

I was pretty impressed with the shows lately.. the thing about how to setup gears was good, but needed more time for explanation...

Of course, when Jesse said "alot of anti-squat will cause axle wrap" in a discussion about link suspensions, I did have to

MY biggest question is does she really know as much as you are lead to believe on the show? Or is it script? A lady welder is really kewl in my book. And she appears to be a git er done kinda gal too, a real trooper( speaking of the episode where she had to leave to deliver an unhealthy apendix)
