Hey guys...
So my brother and I were at URE this past Saturday and he managed to drag his left rear leaf spring mount over a rock hard enough to snap the pin, bend the u bolts and shift the axle backwards on that side about 3" and forward on the other side the same amount, leaving it undriveable for the trip back to Raleigh.
Right now its sitting in front of Eldorado, red YJ on mud graps with the doors in the back. Our thinking was all it needs is some U-bolts, 2 pins to be safe (the ones that center the axle on the spring) and some tools/sawsall.
If anybody is up that way in the next couple days, I'm wondering if they could take a quick look to see if we're missing something so we can try to knock it out as quick as possible. It'll drive fine but dog tracks like crazy and was pulling on the ebrake cable pretty bad. We we're going to make a quick fix and just shift it back into place with a winch but with the way the rest of the day went we just called it and drove mine back.
Thanks in advance for any help!
