Bowe Bergdahl

you know,I was wondering why he didn't have his head removed and video taped but guess when your dad stands beside the POTUS and praises Allah in arabic on the White House lawn, you got an "in".
 
AGREED! 6 dead because this dumbass decided to "take a walk". Now how many more b/c of the 5 that were released. No wonder Putin and all his commie friends are laughing at us. As a nation we have been castrated by this administration.
 
Look, everyone who has ever traded baseball cards knows that if someone is willing to trade 5 for one, that one must be worth something special!!!! We got the Bowe Bergdahl rookie card!!!!! That's obviously like trading one Ty Cobb for an 81' Lenn Sakata, a Warren Brusstar, a Craig Kusick, A Doug Drabek and a John Pacella!

I did get a laugh about one of his supposed Tweets prior to going missing... something to the tune of "If this deployment is lame, I'll just walk to China from here..." So he not only doesn't have much of a grasp on what he's doing there, but he's no whiz at Geography either....
 
The problem is one of perspective. You can't be such a pessimist. Look at the bright side! You see this $h!t sandwich as half-eaten, I see it as having one more serving for us to enjoy.

Now that the Al Qaeda 5 can be returned to their home countries for THEIR legal system to adequately deal with, we have Bowe Bergdahl home safe and sound where he can enjoy all of the liberties that come with being an American citizen allow us. He is now free to speak against the tyranny of the country that he got so disenfranchised with and the Al Qaeda 5 get to go home to the country that he found so appealing that he wanted to escape the confines of his base to go enjoy. Win win!

Enjoy the rest of your $h!t sandwich. Apparently, there's MORE THAN ENOUGH to go around.

 
While I agree with the "no man left behind" mantra, giving up the farm for a pound of manure was exactly what was done here.

I don't know how anyone can think this was a good idea. Oh yeah, it is ok because those 5 guys will have to live in exile in Qatar for a year. That'll stop them from rejoining the terrorists.

You KNOW that wasn't an American doing that.... heck, we'll circle the parking lot at the gym just to get a closer parking space so we aren't all tired when we get to the treadmill.


Tell you what.... if you are going to walk from the Paktika Province in Afghanistan to ANYWHERE, pick somewhere like Czechoslovakia. It's like going to Wisconsin...

I can appreciate that.
But aren't you fairly certain the military knows more about the specifics than we do?

I've read and heard all the allegations, and he deserves to be drawn and quartered if true, but as an American doesnt he deserve innocene until proven otherwise.

Dont know, Im torn on this one.

besides if he is a traitor Id prefer we kill him than them.

I take it personal for a different reason. I helped capture one of those people. And i know what he is capable of.
 
I am just hoping they inserted gps trackers into each of the 5 guys without them knowing so we can track them and blow there asses up

..........he looked pretty healthy to me, I think that was just a bad excuse for their secret actions and leaving congress out of the loop. I believe after 4 years, to negotiate this lopsided deal now was only done for political purposes to make someone look like a savior after his dismal performance in the rest of his achievements or lack there of.
 
This opens the door for terrorists to capture even more troops and start trying to negotiate for more of their leaders to be traded back. I think it puts more americans in danger than before. If we don't leave anyone behind, then go in and rescue; don't negotiate
