I can hear the windows in our building sqeaking like they are gonna pop..

and the trees are all leaning over..

seems almost like hurricane type winds
 
I have a couple branches down. Have the heat pump being replaced today, their dodging branches in the yard.
 
yeah, it's been blowing good. one large branch and one smaller tree down at my parent's house (where i am), but no damage.

i'm fearing what might be at my house. i have 3 HUGE 100+ year old white oaks and probably 8-10 large pine trees on my property. my shingles are on borrowed time as is, even smaller branches falling on it could cost me some trouble. gonna give the guy renting it a call this evening.
 
At State they had a big tent set up in the middle of the Brickyard, I mean big like 300-400 people big, and it pulled up the stakes and plasterred itself all over Harrellson....:lol:

lots of power outages around here, interstate 40 was blocked at one time west bound by trees over the road. wind chimnes tangled, flag wrapped up, limbs all over the yard.

so far everything is going smooth with the house. Insurance has been easy to deal with. There is a company coming with a crane tomorrow to get the tree off the house. Its a pain in the ass, but it could have been much worse.
 
yeah, i was about to say harrelson is destroying itself.:lol:

matt and lee, sorry to hear about that. hope everything goes well getting it taken care of.

don't know which bank it was, but one of them in Greensboro had a huge Glass Panel (Wall size) blow out. A co-worker was in the bank when it happened. said he thought it was gun fire at first.
