Windrock Trail Info?

End of the day, last trail of the weekend, last run before trying to sell current axles. Just make it back to the trailer!
That's not what I heard.

For some reason I feel this trip is going to put me and my truck to the test. Only bringing 3 spare front cv shafts. Let's hope I don't get even better at changing them.

I'm about as hardcore as a Momma June sextape....hell I'll just ride with Jason after the dirt roads :D

Comments on 22 to 21, into 46/15, how is that route

Trying to plan a fun , challenging route but keeping in mind everyone's capabilities.

Just hit 16 and ride the whole thing out. You can eat lunch at the Waterfall, crawl the rock garden at Poison Ivy (right off 16 with an area for people to park) and if it rains it'll be plenty challenging enough.

edit: you can also pull off of the trail when it crosses the gravel road near the top and ride out to see the windmills and get a club picture. Another section of 16 allows you to ford a creek for a ways if you're into that. I'm not much into tearing up creeks but some people are. It's got a couple of nice sections. I won't say I haven't done it but it has been a few years. It's just down from the Waterfall.

Went last fall with a couple locals and we did 16. Seems like at one spot they said you used to be able to do some creek stuff but it was closed off. It had rained like hell the day before and as a result the one long hill saw slicker than snot. 3 of us made it 1 pulled 3 lengths of cable to clear it. (crap tires) We did not finish the trail. The wet conditions made us decide not to try the tough section at the end since only 1 rig had a winch at the time. That being said, I can't wait to go back. Looks like there is a lot fun stuff there.

Guess I should be glad I got to hit it when I did. It doesn't hurt my feelings they closed it though.

I went back in my pictures and it looks like I rode that in 2009  yeah, "a few years ago".

Guessing based on the map, but I think 16 was the one that we did back in 2012. Had a bunch of creek stuff in it.

Was up there this past weekend for a workday with the locals and cut a couple trails (on the Briceville side, no numbers/markers yet) that will end up being some of the rudest loops there...

#3 is good ride for stockers... until the end, but there's a bypass :D

We did 16 and ate at the water fall. It was a fun trail with a few technical places but that is where we turned around since thunderstorms where rolling in hard on us.

Negative. Too far away for us at the moment.

Well crap....Still got access to the 2 rig trailer? Hell I'm not above coming down and getting one of the rigs and pulling it and mine up and back :D

15 and 9 were no problem :D
