AOP/Coppinger cove ride pics

What an absolute awesome trip. Great wheeling and great people to hang out with.

After my truck battery was dead Sunday morning and we finally got it jumped off, I was scared to cut it off before I got home. Stopped for gas twice and eat, had my spare set of keys so left it running and locked it. Truck ran nonstop from 815am to 330pm.

If I had known that, I have an Extra battery in my trailer box. My Optima is Way past it's warranty!

So is the AOP Racetrack accessible by tow rig and trailer? Looks like a great place for a "gathering" Hahaha
 
Did y'all just spend one day at each? Do you wish you had more time or was that enough to cover most?

Yes only one day at each. Both places I could spend multiple days at and enjoy every minute of it. Coppinger Cove has some amazing scenery and primitive camping throughout. Planning on hitting it for a long weekend of camping and Wheelin when the weather cools down a little.

Coppinger Cove: I think we hit ALL the major attractions in that day. While you COULD make a long weekend out of it, I think a full day is perfect
AOP: To wheel it all and appreciate everything there I would want 3 days. We went 2 years ago and wheeled a little Thursday night, all day Friday and all day saturday, and still missed a big portion of the park. This year we only had one day to wheel AOP, but got to see portions of what we couldn't 2 years ago (which was the bounty hill run that was off limits 2 yrs ago)
