I couldn’t get my phone out quick enough, but there is a Hyundai Sonata in Concord with a roof basket carrying the spare tire and an LED light bar on all 4 sides.

Handicapped spot, and the guy walked out with no issues

Not to say he isn’t a douche but to be honest how many “handicapped” people do you see park in these spots that jump out of the car, walk perfectly fine to, all through, then back to their front row parking spot?? I know we have more of them than actual individuals that need the spot and tag.

I’m gonna sound like a dick but we were out to eat once and a lifted jk with two mountain bikes on a bike rack was parked in a handicap spot, I was helping my grandmother walk in and was talking about what a dick would do that.... guy walked out on two prosthetic legs. Asked if I had a problem, told him I did if he could ride a mountain bike then he should be able to walk 50ft to eat. He didn’t know what to say and walked away

I agree, but also had no handicap "tag" or plate. Also the parking spot he took in the far corner made it seem like he was trying to park there and knew he shouldn't.

Most people would never know I was handicapped without me saying anything. My whole left side of my body is titanium. Femur, Tibula, Fibula, 6ribs, humerus, radius, and ulna completely shattered all of them. However I walk fine. All three of my bikes now have handicapped tags as well as my Jeep has a handicapped placard. I get called out for not needing to park in the spots all the time. My body hurts all the time and I can barely walk 500 feet without my leg locking up. So don’t necessarily judge someone by what appears to look fine.

Although not to your extent I’m also eligible for a handicap placard and tags but I refuse to have them cause it’s a road I’m not ready to go down until I retire. The point was that people abuse the system cause it’s easy and it makes me sick. The worst one is fattys in the lil Walmart go carts!!!

to play devil's advocate, There is a white line painted between where he parked and the handicapped spot. I know its bs, but it wouldn't hard to argue that he parked in a motorcycle sized spot.

After meeting you at the uwharrie outpost this summer I would have had no idea. Now i really feel bad for stopping you in the parking lot to chat.
Glad you posted this, made me realize i shouldn't jump to conclusions when i see someone parked in a handicap spot and seem fine.

It was me today. Except outback wasn't open at 7am.

Saw a 2018 Camaro parked in the handicapped spot at the country club. The parking lot was nearly empty and there was a few non handicapped spots adjacent that were open. Common sense says park in the non handicapped beside the handicapped and save the handicapped for the next person that needs it. Also, the handicapped spot was in front of the pool which was closed and there were non handicapped spots open that were closer to the pro shop.
Check out this handicapped parking job.
