My brother in law had something similar to this happen to him a little while ago in SC. He had his truck hooked up to his trailer with 3 nice mudding 4 wheelers on the back. They stole the truck in the middle of the night and were heading to GA when it ran out of fuel. They swapped the trailer over to their truck and continued on after stripping the interior of my BIL's truck. We didnt have any luck with the police dusting the interior of the truck for fingerprints. The 4wheelers and trailer are still missing.

Fingerprints are always a rare find.

During a murder investigation I worked on, a few local coke heads killed a guy. Put his body in his own trunk, drove his car out into the boondocks, squirted lighter fluid into the trunk to torch the body, than slammed the trunk shut and basically put the fire out.

Not a single print on the entire car.

Same for the crime scene, which was their residence, with the exception of some partial finger prints on the magazines in one of the guys guns, and a couple prints on the glassware they were snortin' coke off - nada.

A couple years prior to that, had a creeper walk into my girlfriends apartment(her drunk roommate left the door unlocked). She woke up and he was just standing there, then he turned and casually left. Cops came over about 15 minutes afterwards with a dog and also dusted for prints. Nothing. They caught the guy a couple months later, apparently he did this a lot. Just wandered around trying locks then going inside and eating something. He never hurt anyone, just freaked a lot of people out.

CSI is full of crap. Most crimes are solved by someone talking.

Thank you @jcramsey for linking this thread. Now, anytime I feel inferior I will bring this back up and remember that there are smaller penises, lower IQ's and larger insecurities than I'll ever have

We are waiting on detective to call back, but word on the street is, one of the suspects was arrested for another crime, they are trying to get him to turn on his crackhead buddies, a quick look by the sheriffs dept at the house turned up no ATV’s according to a local deputy

So pretty much we are fucked, farmer is helping, we are “renting” the barn from him as part of the lease, so he is looking into his homeowners insurance

We will see what happens

Hope his isn't state farm.

According to them, if a 4 wheeler, dirt bike, lawnmower, tractor is in your homes attached garage, and your home burns down, or its stolen by forced entry, it wont be covered under homeowners, as they have to have their own policy.
I'd assume a barn is considered much the same.

Notice how I've never asked what you drink?

It's because I just don't care. What anyone drinks isn't going to change my opinion on them for the better or worse.

I suppose someone insecure in their masculinity might fret about what strangers on the internet think about their brand of alcohol...

But not me.
