Random pic thread.

I fixed mother nature today. No more gully washers of rain going inside the shop. Hand dug a trench in the front and packed the whole bottom of the building with dirt so any run off cant get under the wooden forms. Bring on the concrete. :bounce2:

I am amazed that they still aren't done with your shop. When was the official start date? My house took 10mos and I felt like a lot of people drug their feet.
 
Thanks goodness I worked hard and bought all this property so my kids can experience being in nature. You couldn't do things like camping out with a tiny neighborhood lot.

Not really the crews fault. We have had so much rain here. We set new rain fall records for the past 2 month. Building was delivered Nov 1st.

Either way, that's a crazy long time. Last red iron metal building we had built (50x50) was built in about 2 weeks by methhead subs. They were so aweful, the morons were driving a standard scissor lift on the bare ground outside to put up panels until we saw them and shut that one down. Including ground work and concrete it was about 6 wks total.

Yes they even had a line of stereo equipment and guns and cameras iirc. All outsourced of course.

Swing it straight back off the tail, then 45 degrees passenger or driver. Do a full extend and lower til she is almost on the deck. Put the rated load in the basket. Now go see the front opposite outrigger floating!

Edit. This requires by passing safety measures built in by most manufacturers. It was a structural integrity thing LTI did. LTI was the manufacturer of ALF "American Lafrance" and where I got my certs to work on Arial Platforms.

I loved working on them things!

I can relate. People won’t get the hell out of the way when you are running lights and siren.
 
Moved the campsite inside. Had to make sure the tent was dry. ;) Kids decked it out with couch cushions quite nicely.
