Random pic thread.

Moved the campsite inside. Had to make sure the tent was dry. ;) Kids decked it out with couch cushions quite nicely.

When I was a kid we did'nt have AC we just had old school window fans. We got some box fans. One hot night I attached a sheet across a fan housing and the long edges stuck to the floor w the couch cushions .The fan made a tent out of the sheet and my brother/sister and I snoozed in cool comfort in the "fan fort"....
good times.

Funny you mention that. Last night I actually put a box fan blowing onto the tent so my cold weather liking self could sleep in 75 degree 90 percent humidity conditions. Never had that luxury before. Worked like a champ.

Yes they even had a line of stereo equipment and guns and cameras iirc. All outsourced of course.
Not that I remember, but Robbie Mozely bought a LifeTime battery from JCP, back in the mid 70s. Even after they stopped carrying batteries, some other company honored the warranty. He said he got Several batteries, before they ran out of companies that would honor it!

You going to put that stone in there, aren't you? Some wire & or, rebar? Maybe even cover with plastic to keep moisture from coming up.
Yes to all. wire mesh whole pad and going to have rebar where all the heavy machines will be.

Not really the crews fault. We have had so much rain here. We set new rain fall records for the past 2 month. Building was delivered Nov 1st.

Two weeks including concrete.
And I still would have asked why they weren't done in 7 days.
The company I worked for would have had that building DONE 3 days after being allowed on the slab.

I wish I could have hired your company. I contacted 5 companies to erect my building. Only 1 was interested. The outfit is out of TN. Basically it is a family operation. Dad, mom, and son. Son does 95% of the work so its like a one person work crew.

They are both lawyers.

Protestors broke down the gate of their private road/community and were approaching their house (on way to neighbor).

I probabably would have done the same, but looked less like a dimtwat.

Started gutting my upstairs bathroom (master). All the drywall is coming down. Opened a wall to join a “his and hers” into one big closet and a couple doors are coming out. One is original to the house.

I didn't read/listen to the story, just saw the screen shot of the first duder when I pulled up the news, and immediately saw how he was gripping that AR. Just about sprayed coffee through my nose. But that being the case, I definitely would have done the same, but exactly like you said...much less of a dimtwat, probably not even visible....only taking care of business if I had to.

Maybe they looked like that on purpose. As a protester I’d be more comfortable with someone standing in the front yard looking all “seal team 6” operator like.
2 bafoons with guns waving and fingers on triggers is serious, #imagetmyassoutahere!

Not sure what's going on here, but one day I passed & there was 2 trucks for sale. Yesterday, 3 trucks. Today, 4!
Had to go back & update this today, as another truck hit the line. Flatbed! Actually, I hadn't realized the was another flatbed there too. All are diesel, 4 wh dr., work trucks, vinyl seats & rubber floor covering. They all seem in decent body & interior shape, some with the drivers seat split or torn. All are averaging 120K miles, & i think the oldest is 2013. One has the 6.7 listed on windshield. Rain has washed off most windshield paint. Most Superduty's & 1 for sure a F250. Prices seem to run from $17K to $23K. Seems Wholesale to me. I'll leave that to you experts.
The newest flatbed, 1st pic, that I think is the 6.7, has the goose neck hatch, in the bed. I didn't open it.
