Random pic thread.

I saw something on the line about a lot of Copperheads this year because of cicadas.

I had that fun 3 years ago. Had an ivy patch with some trees in the middle just like yours. I cut the trees down, ground the stumps, sprayed the ivy…no problem. Couple weeks later, I go to town with the tiller…start seeing movement exiting the ivy…apparently i got into a den of copperheads. Not sure if they recently moved in after getting rid of the trees or if I just got lucky a couple weeks earlier. But if you picture a dude with a chainsaw in zombie movies…that was me, but with a tiller and copperheads. I promptly went and got the first couple ‘omg look at this big black snake’ I saw on Facebook and re-released them to my yard. Haven’t seen a copperhead since.
I have no shortage of black snakes. I'm sure that explains my lack of the venomous bastards. Big black snakes still relocated cause they're egg stealing shit heads. Squoze a damn egg out of one's neck and back out its mouth one time. I gave it a good scolding and moved it down the road a few miles.

Nope nope nope nope nope I haven't seen a copperhead but I am terrified to. Sadly I came from an area with no venomous snakes so I have no real clue about where they hangout or live.

King snakes are another answer to that problem. We have a scarlet king snake around here I’ve seen a few times in my mulch. I talk to him and thank him for his service.

Ok this one cracks me up. I was searching amazon for cheap sunglasses since early alzheimers is keeping me from remembering where I left my Oakley's. FWIW, my wife and I share the same login for amazon so technically it's her account. I scrolled down to find the wtf

Found this little guy trying to find his way under the house yesterday. I've seen one or two down by the barn over the years, but never near the house. After I relocated him my wife saw him in the driveway headed for the house again, but he turned around and went into the cedar tree.

My HF 20 ton shop press that was on sale, resting in the rear of my wife’s Honda. Had to go all the way to the Burlington store because none of the nearer stores had any 🙄

Pulled the trigger on a low mileage 2008 6.7. Just need to flip those tow mirrors out full time. I’m still waiting on it to make diesel. Hasn’t done it yet. Overall, I’m happy with it. Came with a nice auto sliding fifth wheel hitch. Wife wants a toy hauler so I had to upgrade from a half ton. She didn’t have to twist my arm too hard.

My buddy Don has a ‘15 3500 SRW 4x4 6spd Laramie we have driven to CO a few times. It is a great riding truck with gobs of torque. I think you’ll love it.
