The left lane Priuses are quickly being replaced by the left lane Teslas.

Dude was cruising at about 65 in a 70 (aka 80-85 zone) on 485 this morning. You can see the line of cars behind him, and of course he sped up once I passed him. This is about the 4th time in the past month I've had this happen via Tesla. One I saw a couple weeks ago was a friggin Model S Plaid (if the badge was real) doing 50 in a 65 in the left lane. Seriously bro, that's literally one of the fastest cars IN THE WORLD and you're holding up traffic with it. :kaioken:

If he drove it fast it might get 20 miles to the charge😂😂😂
That's the main reason I don't have one. The economy is just not there if you drive like me :D

And they are too damn expensive!

Friend of my dads got one, had to spend 3 hours hanging out at a Panera bread to charge in the middle of a 3 hour road trip, 6 hours wasted just to drive 6 round trip
If you like microwave food, at least there's usually something to see at Panera. 👍

I hope this makes you feel better. It made me feel better when I did it.

I wish the gas stations would have just a diesel pump off to the side with no gas handle anywhere near it so it wasn’t an issue. There are stations around here I just plain won’t go to so I can avoid the headache of dealing with gas motors drivers. Don’t even get me started on people who just park and go inside then show up to get gas 30 minutes later.

They are putting in a new gas station in the bustling 2000 person metropolis of Stanley where I live, and as I drove by the other day, they had delivered all the new pumps. I got really excited because they all said Diesel AND Ethanol Free. Then I got really sad because I realized all the pumps probably just have that on there by default and they will cover up both those labels on the majority of the pumps :(

I quit going to the Murphy at the Walmart near my house. The diesel pumps are, in fact, diesel only and they're only on the outer row of pumps. However they're dead between two gas pumps. So no matter what you do, you're blocking a gas pump when getting fuel. The only place around here that had separated diesel pumps was a Mallard, but they're tearing it down for the new interstate project. It was also the only place around here that sold off-road diesel.

Eh, 50/50. I understand the sentiment, but would also get pissed if they parked in front of the diesel pump I needed to get to.

Here’s the rest of the story. Tesla has these charging stations at lots of gas stations up north. Since the electric car makes up less than 2% of all new cars sold, I think using one of their spots is okay. I never saw a single car charging at any station. It does look like they might be getting ready for Biden’s new green deal and government mandates. Oh and the death of the combustion engine. ❤️Biden

I work with a few people that have them, and have ridden with them on local trips. Every time we have had to stop, the stations were mostly filled with cars charging. We drove from hickory to winston, but he didnt charge it all the way the night before, we we had to drive almost to greensboro to charge, so we could make it back to hickory. Was a major waste of time. I like the cars, but they need bigger batteries.

What the fuck is that about? That shit blew my mind when I moved here. Up north that will git your car drug out of the way or just plain smashed.

Had this happen to me a few times and I've backed up in front of them so they have to back out to leave...I'm not proud of this, but I did smirk at the time.

I'd be happier if it was a QT going in. The buffalo chicken rollers (devils laxative) are one of my guilty pleasures.

Royol Farms is a chain up here kinda like Sheetz, w/ food and stuff (their fried chicken is pretty good).
Most of them have diesel+gas at all of the pumps.

My brother & I call them cheesy chicken dicks because they will absolutely wreck your guts!
