New Jeep 3.0 CRD 215hp/376ft-lbs

there is one on display at Fair.. near Yesteryear building..

says price is $45,000 (deisel engine cost is $4,000 extra)

if is was closer to $30,000 I would trade wifes 2005 in for a diesel one..

I still don't think the GC has enough wheelbase or curb weight. Hopefully they up't the brakes on it to handle stopping 7500 lbs.

but ya, a step in the right direction!

EPA estimated 18/23mpg, sounds a bit low, hopefully the real world will prove better,
Keep in mind, they've now changed how the rated MPGs are calculated so they re supposed to reflect more "real world"... as a general rule that means the stated numbers are going down (b/c many people were finding the truth was worse than stated)
But yeah, as said... 45g could get you alot of other nice vehciles. Hell, 2 Mazdas :huggy:

It really depends on the vehicle. My Passat TDI is 27/38, but I haven't gotten less than 37 on a tank, with a best of 42mpg.
