Was in Raleigh for a meeting today, CFO called me in his office and gave me a nice gift. Apparently his child hood friend in NY state owns a liquor store and when up there recently gave him a bottle and he downs like liquor.

Not bad. Not sure if I’d buy again…but def worth the price

Damn…I was so impressed with the HH GTG bourbon…I went back for the rye…damn HH killed these. If the bourbon was a top 10 for me the rye is a top 5. I’m not normally a rye guy…this has that spice note typical of rye…but damn smooth,
It’s a 120 proofer that drinks like an 90….im amazed.

I bought a few off a guy that brings them back by the truckload. I'll see if I can find him again. IIRC I paid 50 or 60 depending on quality and quantity.

Stopped in an ABC store in Winston today, from the parking lot I spotted a bottle of Eagle Rare in the window behind the counter. I felt the need to go in and adopt it.

Realized the liquor cabinet was getting a little bare of drinkers and mixers. I had no idea the abc store had carts…
