At 34 hours I would sleep standing up, outside on the darn things wings mid flight! Geeze I'd be useless for 3 days trying to get back to normal.

I love this place! Been there twice and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again! The level of detail is astounding.

Back through London Heathrow for one night and home. This black cab last night photo really shows how it feels sometimes.

Then this morning back to the airport to head home.

I had a notification from this thread. That's ironic because I'm currently driving home from Raleigh. We couldn't get flights in to New Bern. New Bern - Charlotte - Heathrow - Bahrain on the way there. Bahrain - Qatar - Miami - Raleigh on the way back.

Qatar to Miami was SIXTEEN hours. I'll be happy if I never do that again.

We got to dry camp out there by wall drug at “the wall” before. We parked the camper on the rim of the canyon and the afternoon wind was so strong that I thought it was going to flip the camper over. The mountain goats would climb up and feed around us in the afternoon. It’s awesome out there!
