What are you having for dinner?

Not so much dinner as what goes along with dinner. Wife made brats and cut potatoes tonight. White taters sliced across, blanched, and then air fried to make “thick” chips. She said she really wanted some ranch but we don’t keep ranch in the house cause it goes bad before a bottle can be used. She whipped 4 tbl spoons of Dukes, hidden valley ranch seasoning (we use it on popcorn) and a splash of whole milk. Whipped with a spoon. I WILL NEVER BUY RANCH DRESSING AGAIN!!!!!

I understand….once upon a time I considered adding cut up hot dogs and cheese to ramen as a fancy meal.
Hopefully the pepperoni gods will bless you soon.

These are cooked in a smoker in front of the store and are waiting as you get your buggy. They're not bad, not the best I ever had but good enough.
 
Roasted some okra from dad’s garden with Cherokee purple tomatoes from a family friends garden.

Okras been on my wife’s fear factor list since she heard some old lady in Charleston say her favorite meal was slimy okra. It’s not on the list anymore now that she knows it doesn’t have to be slimy lol.

GF wanted to be extra nice yesterday.

Best filet minion of my life.
Fancy cognac flambé’d sauce au poivre.
“Thousand sheets” triple fried potatoes with grated pecorino.
Grilled asparagus that were melting in your mouth.

Peach crumble with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
