Passed on it.
No more door keypads on 25 and newer Super Dooty. Only dealer installed.

Yup. They took it away on 25s. Now it's a dealer installed option. They're super bulky looking and not at all asthetic

You'd have the wiring to deal with still. Unless they planned ahead and kept the harnesses the same to make the dealer install easier?

No idea, but I figure a successful 12v signal from the keypad is the same as hitting the unlock button that’s already on the door.

Started the day with the youngest wanting to ride dirtbikes at like 9am. They normally don’t get theirselves going til like 11, but I’m never one to turn down an invitation to ride dirtbikes! He’s been sneaking in rides on big brothers KTM SX-E5, but set on level 2 of 6. I decided to let him try level 3, and this is how he left the garage!

Nearly whiskey throttled into my car, but recovered, left a stripe through mommas nicely mulched flower bed, and slid to a stop on the wet grass, then said “let’s put it back on level 2”

who knows. The way things are done these days the unlock is probably controlled by digital logic in the ECU so it uses it own bus wire instead of the simple and obvious way of it just being a dumb standalone unit
