There are a lot of different aspects and avenues. A good NDT/NDE (Non-Destructive Examination/Testing) guy generally has a good bit of field experience and practical welding, as well as classroom learning and working alongside a crusty old guy for a few years. I have no idea what the best "path" is to get there.Is that taught at a tech college or is that just a book and then you go somewhere and get certified.
