My girl's Xterra build

Looks good! These 3 day work weeks must be givin you more time to get some cool work done!
 
Thanks guys. I'm happy with the work thus far and hope to come up with some other cool stuff on here to complete it. I know Ellen is ready for it to be done and I'm looking forward for her to bring some of her friends along too.

Metric f-ck tons perhaps. Still kind of work there... 24hour weeks with lay off weeks coming up. Things are not looking good.

hey rich where did you get the hard and soft brake line this might be a stupid question but I need to redo my rear axle brake line and run flexible brake lines from the hard lines to the calipers just wondered thanks!

Napa or local auto parts store for the hardline, then I bent it. I bought the soft/stainless lines from Billy at Alliance hose in Greensboro.

Dude that's crazy looking! The headlights are funky cool.
 
Other truck has been at a stand still for awhile. I haven't had much time to devote to either of them but I'm not just about done with this one. All it needs is a steering box installed and the rear bumper finished up.

Here are some pictures of the progress..
Had to lower the rear down so I cut all the stuff off the frame and welded on some ruffstuff mounts...

Welded some shackle mounts out back...

Shock tower for the rear shocks, used ruff stuff's leaf plate brackets up top so I could have a little adjustment if needed.

Built some bumpstop mounts and installed the sway bar.

Built a t-case skid with a poly bushing transmission mount, also built some poly motor mounts..

Sticks down about as far as the stock skid.

Took .120 plate and dimpled it, then layed another sheet of .120 over it to stiffen it up a little more.

Got the air bumps and pads mounted up...

Built some sliders..

Wrapped the headers and installed them..

This is about where it's at with ride height, should come down an inch or two with the front and rear bumper/tire carrier on.
