hey i need a sponsor for the site ,if anyone can help let me know

Tell us about yourself.

I'd be more then happy to help out.

1. What do you expect to get out of the site?

2. Where is your favorite "local" wheeling spot?

3. How far are you from a good set of power line trails? Can we setup a trail run out there one day?

Welcome to the board Chris.

Advice:

Read all the stickies.
Post up viable information where you see the opportunity. Ask intelligent questions when you need to.
Show the maturity that was taught to you by your parents and the Army.

Give it some time, and someone will step up to sponsor you

Thanks for your service in the Army, That would be a good place to start with helping us get to know you. Post up your MOS, Where served, stationed and pics of injury's always get this group going(JK)

You close enough to visit?

practically inmy back yard.

the trail he is talking about was legal about 10 years ago.

i actually had permission from the farmer to wheel there but have since lost that priviledge.

too many other people without permission, the state bought a bunch of the land and water utilities easements now blocking the lands.

the main entrances are now either marked with no trespassing signs by the state or tank trapped by the owner.

either way....those are the only warnings given. if you get caught, automatic ticket. forsyth county sherriff dept has 4 wheelers and a camoflage 80's model dodge. and i think one person has even been caught by cop in horseback by Winston Salem PD.

the sheriffs deputies like to hang out there (marty lane) tanglewood park, hwy 311 trails, ebert road powerlines, and hanes mall blvd (trail is now a shopping center, but there is some access)

the above list is a warning of places place NOT to go. You are at RISK. the sheriffs check there regularly and will not hesitate to ticket.

all permissions by landowners have long since been revoked.

There are NO legal wheeling places in clemmons/winston salem.

In my younger stupid days I remember those trails Reid. That is when I used to think fourwheeling meant getting some mud on your tires and looking "cool" at school the next day. All of those areas should be avoided because they are not places to wheel, they are private property. But alas, you did bring up some old memories :)
