Any thoughts about having a race on the high speed track? Just a thought...would be lots of fun for spectators, and I could easily round up some racers. It would be the weekend after the ECORS race so should not conflict with anybody. Thanks

Yes Thanks for your input...We actually were trying to ask around and if we had enough that would race, we'd do an ECORS style race for sure!! Think you might could help with this?

Give me a call @ 336-817-7289 and we can talk, Im sure we could round up some guys, hopefully there wont be too much carnage after DPG, would probably suggest a 1 or 2 lap heat races or time trial as the dust can get pretty bad out there. Unless you got a water truck, people will not be able to see with lots of vehicles on the course at once

After looking at the Itinerary, when would be the best time to run an offroad race? What would not effect the other events?

Hey daniel! How ya been man havent been able to talk to ya inawhile but me and Holli got married back ina ugust and then they shipped me off back out here to good ol afghan land!sounds like they are extending us too so you probably wont see me until next spring!Wish i could be there for this!:poop:

I would say in the morning, during the amateur mud runs, 9-11 or 9-12, that way you are not interfering with the big dogs mud run. Or make it during the afternoon same time as the mud run, just wanna stay out of there way though. It could be done easly either way. Just have the off road race guys stage in a different area from the mud guys. There is lots of room on the track, so I would not see it being a big issue

I knew you would ask about this after the may jam!!!

lol.....I got mine from Wilsons a while back, and have it displayed next to my KOH plaques, and other rockcrawling trophies. $1.32 in welding wire and sheilding gas welding some broke parts together, then plasma cutting a big 1st on it, sure seems to make competitors happy!!!

Rob

Rockcrawl?? Classes?? Entry fee?? Prizes?? Trophies???
What about kids?? I didnt see on the registration form.
Rob
Still working on the activities for the kids...I would like to do a projection screen with the movies Cars and I'd like to do a neon painted lug nut hunt but it all depends on how many volunteers we have...

My question in regards to kids was entry fee. Are they $20 as well? I cant speak for everyone, but my two maniacs can find plenty to do with out watching movies. Of course, they are 10 and 11, and have been to tons of off-road events!!!

Rob
Gonna try to make it either way.
