Great ridin with y'all! I had a great time, especially being a last minute thing for me, deciding I would go Friday! Having to install the rear axle, and load Friday night, soccer game Sat morn, and not getting there til around noonish, and still being able to meet up with y'all at Terry's stand! (It was good to 'fuel up' and relax at Terry's for a minute before heading out as well.)

I was really impressed with how well all the trails moved all weekend, even with the huge crowd! Good to be out wheelin in the Sunshine again! And meeting and riding with some new people! It was just a great weekend to be out!

Also a big thanks to Justin, Lori, et al, for giving me a place to sleep and feeding me! (Staying over being another last minute decision! LOL!)

Thanks JT for the drive pipe. My weekend could have ended early, and I would have missed playin on Kodak Rock!

Oh..yea. Kept meanin' to catch the guy in the Blue FJ and thank him for the parking spot. Parking was definitely a premium!

This happen on the bottom of Dicky Bell, rode up on it just as it was happening. I think there was some liquid courage involved, but on the bright side it gave Matt1u2 a chance to use that new recon winch.

Sunday it got really crazy hooked up with a a few guys from Dillion, SC to get a quick trail ride in before packing up and going home. We decided to make Rocky mount loop the first trail we hit. Of course we decide to hit the ledge first.

This jeep showed how to get over the ledge correctly

This was the result of not doing the ledge correctly, ended with a back flip and 4 barrel rolls down the canyon. Scared the shit out all of us after the 2rd roll we all thought he wasn't going to stop rolling until he got the bottom Lucky he got wedge in the slight curve.

After back flipping and barrel rolling 4 times this was the primary damage. He had two small dents at the tail lights, it didn't even break the windshield

how much for the rolled TJ? lol

Does that have 30 day tags from a Dealership?!!

Looks like everyone had a great time.
Also looks as if there needs to be some education. This pic is a good example of how not to wheel. Please stay on trails.

Agreed, can we delete this pic since it is an open thread that anyone can see?

IF one of the Mods from this section wants to break it off of this legitimate thread and move it to the garage, it'd be fine with me. But on the other hand, it does show that this type wheeling isn't approved of and won't be tolerated.

Just wondering? Whats the BIG deal bout him climbing the hill....he didnt tear anything up (doubt he could with bald tires lol)

He prolly got tired off being on a trail and not coming outta 2wd, he wanted to put it in 4x4 at least ONCE! :flipoff2:

haha pga sorta right the broke bronco on dickey bell blocked the fun part i also went in the smaller mud hole 2wd and around the bronco also did like slab pipe or pile what not in 2wd i was also just riding around showing girls and a buddy a good time i didnt think it was that big of a deal i mean not like im the first and i wasnt littering or running down trees or anything idk my apologies i deleted my photo no hard feelings and :p i have like a half inch of tread

Well the only broke on the bronco of mine was the belt...if you had been talkin about mine and I dented the rim bad on kodak and had to fix that

Apology accepted. And to let you know what the big deal is..You were riding on forest service land. Not your own land. One of the rules states that you STAY on marked trails. Climbing a bank, is doing just the opposite. That's the big deal.

there taking care of now lets continue get some more pics on here and calm down with the flames meant no harm (just looking for bigfoot lmao)

Actually no, it's still there in my post. I didn't flame you, I merely stated fact. There needed to be some education, and here it is in this post. I have no doubt that when you climbed that bank you didn't know that it was against the rules, and if it had been seen by one of the forest officials, they would well within their rights, to ticket you. Many people have worked many hours to keep these trails clean, manage run off and erosion and basically keep them open for you to enjoy. Climbing that bank is just the beginning. Someone else will drive by there and say to them self, Hey, I think I can go higher on that bank than that guy did, and so the snowball affect begins, and we have another outlet into another spider trail, and volunteers have to go in there and put up yet another guardrail, to keep people from doing what you started.
Pretty soon, the trails are lined from one end to the other with guard rails, so people don't get off the trails, Now, I ask, how much enjoyment would that be?

The big deal, read above explanation.

I have to ask, all this 2wd, was this just cruising around in 2wd or were you spinning a good bit, to keep it going? If you were doing a lot of spinning, then I suggest you google this "Tread Lightly"
Spinning tears trails up, aids in erosion, and causes more work for the forest service and volunteers.

And just so you know, Yes I am an old fart, who has wheeled most of my life. I have broke many rules of wheeling by todays standards, but there was someone, some club, some group who educated me at some point in time.
There is a time and place for everything, and some places and most of the time, public lands is not when you do this type of stuff.

you are correct i did not know it was against the rules and i understand your point clearly

no i didnt spin at all only in the mud hole
