After many months of trying to find the "perfect car" to build I did.

I Found a 1946 Chevrolet Fleetline
I am the third owner, the 1st owner had it from 1946 till 1960 and traded it in, the second owner had it from 1960 until now.

This will be a very long build as it needs rockers, floor pans, trunk pan and a crap ton of body work.. the plan is to put it on air ride and slam it and just have a very cool old car.

as for engine it has the straight 6 in it and if I can get it running I will run it for now, but the long term plan would be to throw in a nice newer v8 and make it haul ass.

Good news is the guy had all the parts missing from the pics, even stainless and chrome

I started on my 45, building a full frame with a s10 front clip and 2x4 tubing but stoped working on it till I can get a motor/trans to finish mocking up motor mounts and trans crossmembers.

Jimemez is the front end I plan on running also. They are located right down the street from my riverside CA office so when I am out there early next year I am gonna stop by and chat with them.

Nice there fronts look simple to install too! He picked up a universal member cheap from another buddy only reason he didnt go through Jimemez for it also. It actually suprised us how beefy the rear is only thing we didn't like was the panhard, ended up getting a watts link from Speedway so the axle doesn't move at all ehere the panhard pulls some.

Well finally decoded the cowl tag.

Car was built in Atlanta Georgia
Full name of car is : 1946 Chevrolet Fleetline Series Aerosedan.

Thanks for letting us borrow the shop and tools for the day. It was a very productive wrenching day for CNC4X4. I learned about brakes and brake lines.

Let me know if you ever need help with this project.
