Split shaft collars. $12 for a pack of 4 on amazon. They will become internal limiters once I break the ram down to reseal it lol

I'll order up a seal kit and fix that hopefully before wheeling in a few weeks, if not I'll just keep topping the fluid off lol. It will work out as I want to swap out the external limits to internal ones.
Pull it off and drop it off here. They do great work and have more parts in stock than anywhere I've ever seen. Will probably do it cheaper than its worth to mess with.

Bumps are done, just need to repair the leaky ram,, change fluids, trim the fenders and do a bolt check and she is ready for the ranch next weekend!

Shake down run at the ranch went as expected. As usual Rubicon did what Rubicon does best which is finds weaknesses in my truck, this time it was the return line for my ps res popped off at 3500rpm and I ejected all my ps fluid all over. Lucky didn't burn the truck down. After that fix it was a relatively tame rest of the trip. My ram loosened my tie rod, so I have to figure out why that happened. I also made it up chaddilac, never have done that before so that was cool. I don't have any worth while pics of my truck. Next trip is Harlan May 9th, come on out!!

Oh I hate the smell of swepco 715 in all its forms LOL

Should have listened to this advice. Ended up breaking a gland tool and wallowing out the holes on the end of the ram trying to break this POS open to seal it. New ram on the way, I'm deaming this old one cursed.

I'm going to Harlan May 9-12, I'll give you this cool black dong valve cap and you can fit in!

Got back from Harlan, fun as usual. The new ram i swapped in apparently has the fittings in a slightly different spot, because my pax side fitting kept coming lose. I blew it off at camp getting ready to wheel, then again after climbing out of the Putney campground, and then again on one of the access roads leading to the rock garden. The 3rd time it came off I replace the 45* with a 90* fitting and there was no issues after that. Good weekend as always at Harlan.

I do need to upgrade the stereo, I have like 2 of the 4 factory speakers working, the scion radio doesn't have Bluetooth, and I have a head phone jack adapter that doesn't work anymore with my pixel 8 phone. So I have been kicking around just running Bluetooth off an amp and ditching the head unit, well Dave Chappelle to the rescue as he recently did this same thing to that Dodge he bought and posted up instructions on his YouTube channel, so I'm copying that. So my pile of parts came in, and after I order up some wires, I'm going to be dusting off the old car stereo knowledge from highschool and start ripping panels off. Plan is to replace the door and extra cab speakers, add a 4channel amp, an EQ and a Bluetooth receiver, I'm going to have everything fairly well hidden to try to keep the crackheads away. I'm going to retire the head unit in place until I find something to do with the empty space. Pile o parts

Amps have come a long way in size haven't they:

Here's the parts he bought in the video, I changed it up a bit and got a 4 channel amp as I have 4 speakers and don't plan on adding a sub. I got everything from Amazon.
Ds18 bt two
Ds18 equalizer eqx7
Taramps tl1500 amp

I looked under the truck today and noticed what I thought was a puddle of condensate, but I haven't driven the truck in over a week. I climbed under it and saw this:

I was able to get 1.5 turns on the drain plug, figure that should stop the leak. Looks like I'm making a trans/engine skid this winter lol!! No idea what I hit that on, no witness marks.on anything else.

Started work on installing the new stereo, started off with sound deadening. Goal is to quiet it down a bit and cool the floor down. I need to get some connectors for the speakers today and should get the system working tomorrow night.

All I was reading about online was how hard it is to remove the extra cab interior pieces. Well 19yrs of south east rocks and trees popped them all loose for me
