I'm day tripping as well and may just plan to meet up with y'all, or whatever the whole group is doing. I haven't wheeled URE in a year or so, so at least want to hit everything and that new trail before talking shit at camp.

When I was up there for the veterans ride the new rock garden denied me. I tried 3 different lines. I was hoping for some dry rocks this time and retribution but it's not looking like it.
 
Gotta load the smoker up when I get a free neighbor lol 😂. Gonna bring 2 shoulders to smoke all day Saturday, should be room if anyone wants anything else. Anyone wanna commit to bringing some buns and maybe slaw?

Since most everyone is not from eastern NC, I’ll grab some slaw from some of the premier eastern NC BBQ places so y’all can get a taste of the good stuff. 🤣

I like any of it honestly. Typically when I do bbq I do red and cole slaw both.

Any of you camper people gonna have an oven? If so I could prep up some of my momma’s homemade Mac n cheese and bake it Saturday…
 
I'm shooting for a Friday evening arrival time.

Since we're goimg full potluck, I was thinking of bringing a kale quinoa salad with a zesty tofu balsamic dressing....

Then I looked at the weather and also remembered that I hate that shit. I'll make a pot of Italian tortellini soup. It'll stick to yoir ribs and warm you up.
