i plan on it being really low with 39.5-42s. going to build some fenders and raise them up to body line on the hood. upper tri front and rear.
i have most of the wiring harness made for the AW4, thanks www.stu-offroad.com
i'll be adding triangulation (is that a word?) to the cage. untill i get enough tube to remake it.
no doors, no top.

any suggestions? tips? pointers?

I'd probably cut off those outrigger side steps and boat side it a bit.

Where did you score the TJ from?

Going to make a jig to get the motor mounts right.
Does the transfer case tail shaft supposed to be centered in the jeep? Im assuming so.

If you're 14 bolt pinion is centered WMS to WMS, then center the t-case output between the framerails. It can be off an 1/2 inch or so and not matter, but centered is good.

this is arounf what i'm looking for. just remove the body lift and the frame will raise up. set the 14 bolt under it and 2 of the 42s and t-fradys 41 for mockup.
its like 106-7 wheel base at mock-up. i probobly will cut the rear frame. its in the way of the stretch. maybe. ill find out when i remove body lift.

what size body lift is everyone else running? i'm thinking 1-1.5

I've got a 2" bodylift on mine, and I can run a completely flat skid with an NV4500 in there.

P.S. You need more bolts in the body.

most of my build thread might be put off for a lil. looking at a house and i've found a person who says she can get me the loan.
then i'll have a nice garage and space to work.

heres a pic of the garage. keep ya'lls fingers crossed for me.

pics are coming tomorrow. got the motor between the frame rails.

anyone else know how hard it is to move a motor, trans, tcase on a engine hoist in soft red dirt ALONE?
its a fu$%ing bi#$%. still got to get it positioned and moved back. and one of the 6 wheels are missing.

i cut off the front shock hoops, still got to remove some front crossmember that was welded in there.

still waiting on info for the house.
gota dispute some crap on my credit thats supposed to be my dads. remind me if i have a kid, dont name him after myself. haha

if ya got to move it again, try putting down some plywood or metal, it helps the picker roll around.

JR, if i get that house you can load your shit up on a trailer and use the other bay. the garage is alot bigger then it looks.
Hell, I'll just move in then. :flipoff2:

pic the only one i took.

decided to run a chain across frame to rest the t-case on. need some kinda of tall-ish flat adjustable table with wheels. haha.
