All go and no show. This is a JEEP!

<stir> Dude that's a badass 4.0! </stir>
Too bad it's not a 4.0. If it were a 4.0 it would be badass but it isn't a 4.0 so don't call it a 4.0. If you stroke it, it is no longer to be referred to as the orginal displacement. It can now only be referred to as it's new displacement.
Haven't you learned nothing in this thread?! (Another double negative for the literal police)

I realize you're being sarcastic and see the humor...but this post makes sense. Why would you call a 4.7 or 5.0 a 4.0? ...It's not. At the very least say 4.0 stroked to 5 liters. Again, would you call a coilovered yj a "leaf sprung wrangler" because it once was? It's just dumb.

Look, it learns! :bounce2:

But I think you meant literary police. Literal means "actual" or "exact", so you said I was the actual police...please, keep going, this is funny!

Thanks

Wasn't the 4.3 chevy "based on" the 5.7?
Anyway, this thread has been fun.
To whom it may concern, the proper term would be "stroked and turbo'd 4.0"

So what you are saying is they cut the block in half then added two more cylinders and found a.... damn it i thought i had it figured out.

Edit: Gotta start back over and re-read.

That is the most badass 4.0 I have ever seen! (had to :D)

Damn been a member of this sight for quite a while and this most whining and complaining I have seen in a long time.

Are the Ford Chevy and Toyota guys that intimidated by this little I6 that they have to get in a pissing match over the terminology used to describe.

BTW, I meant to say literal police, not literary police.

Its cool man, I guess that is why they keep you in the gym and not in the English I classroom. Now don't not go make 'em kids play some literal basketball.

Baffaro is a cool and unique last name BTW.

regardless of the pissing match, the jeep in the video does NOT have nearly 700hp, no argument. I think people forget/dont know how >500whp performs

that's been my thoughts.watching that video i don't see a jeep with anywhere near 700 hp. when i was in high school in granite falls there was a guy had a jeep with a blown 427 in it.dont know how much hp but when he cut it loose it was crazy.there was no controling it.

if you run the vin on the motor does it not still say 4..0 what it was made is what it is. no matter what you make it. if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck just wait till you hear the quack but i think this thread has been blown out of proportion
