My initial point in this thread was to simply point out that once you change the displacement of an engine that you can no longer call it by its previous displacement. If you're too ignorant to understand that concept, then thats your problem.

The problem is your connotation not your denotation and your failure to realize that their is both a technical cubic inch displacement and common known name.

Hell the venerable "Chevy 350" was a 5.7 liter which would make it only 347 cubic inches. As there are only 61.02 cubic inches per liter, though I am sure you knew that what with your Mensa level intelligence and all.

See many will refer to that as a modified 4.0 engine, using the engine's common known name, no one would refer to it as 4.0 liter displacement engine. (BTW it wasn't a 4.0 liter displacement when it left the factory either) Just like many would refer to you by the common known name dickhead. Now none of us think you are in fact a giant glans of a penis, we are using the common connotation of the term, some who is a largely aggravating and un useful individual. :flipoff2:

The only reason the high school shit was brought up was in response to futbalfantic's lame attempt at a personal attack. I was letting him know he couldn't have been more wrong. I'll be the first to tell you that high school was a long time ago and doesn't count for shit now.

I fail to see how whether or not I pay for the red diamond has any affect on this. I have donated in the past, and had planned to again with this new username. After seeing the true colors of some of the members, I will send my money elsewhere.

Anyone want to discuss why the sky is blue?

The sky is blue due to rayleigh radiation scattering. This occurs when the diameter of the of the scattering material is many times smaller than the wavelength of the incident electromagnetic radiation. The amount of scattering is inversely related to the 4th power of the radiations wavelength. This is why at lower elevations the sky is carolina blue (more scattering), duke blue at slightly higher (less scattering, thinner atmosphere) and navy to very dark blue places really high up (Everest, etc).

Actually it works quite well, much less mess. just wrap in plenty of paper towels.

The best is the pre-cooked bacon. good stuff... you just warm it in the microwave and yer good to go.

Thats bad ass, and I thought my stroked and boarded 4.0 to a 4.5 (348hp/487fpt) was bad ass.
 
Are those desktop dyno numbers or real numbers? Naturally aspirated? I find that hard to believe....
Conservative Desktop #s, but I did do 30 over bore, cam, crank,p-n-p 4.2 head w/larger exhaust valves, pistons, 62mm throttle body w/spacer, p-n-p intake, Gail banks header w/duel exhaust (dynomax ultra flo mufflers) w/high flow cats, bigger fuel injectors, still need to get a bigger radiator cus she runs hot, and some sort of air intake system. hope you don't think I'm a bs artist, I have alot of $$ in my rig so for. In the process of 1 tons, 6 in lift, short arms, Hope to run 36s with no problem, maybe 38s.

Conservative desktop numbers do not translate to reality. I would be very surprised if that setup makes over 300hp. Don't get me wrong, it will be a fantastic motor and you will be happy with it, but if you MUST have 350hp, you will be disappointed.

I know, this isn't my first build,(not to be rude) but for a 4.0 HO she should scream, just can't wait to dyno her, and get back out on the trails. Scott Waters just fabed my rear bumper and rear axle truss, thats what I'm doing now.
