Sam...grow a set and cut that 60 down to usable wheeling width...don't be a goofy full width guy...
...better yet...bring it to rockbottom4x4.com and let me do it...i'll cut ya a deal man...and you wont be a geek then either...

Recon' I am a goofy fullwidth guy and a Geek?

Sam,. another piece of priceless advice.. :)
Girlfriends come and go, but a nice cruiser is forever!

Sam, what's yore wheelbase going to be? thinking about the next one!

Sam, buy some new plasma tips and cutoff wheel, i will be there friday night and saturday to cut the back for you. And your girlfriend might think its cool, but she would think its much cooler if she could drive it. paint the town red friday night

Lol Ben we will see man. Im probably going to wait and cut it later when I do coilovers in the rear but for now I may just keep the leafs and body for my wallets sake. :(

But got a little more done...The 60 is geared 5.13 now with a detroit. Got the 35 spline chromo inners in, and the 35 spline outters are on the way (Randy's Sent 30 spliners the first time accidentaly). Got the toycase a little bit cleaner. And now we are just waiting on parts from BTF. Thanks to Seth at Rock Monkey 4x4 for getting the parts from Randys. If yall need anything from Randys or Marlin Crawler then make sure to give Seth a call.

looks good Sam. When are you planning to finnish it up? What wheelbase are you going to have? i'll send you some pics of what I started on today! later

well i still dont even have a rear axle yet but I hopefully more sooner than later. After it is all said and done I will probably be around 102". Its about the same wheelbase I had and loved it except for the t-case skid hitting all the friggin time but that will be taken care of with the toycase. Havent decided on duel cases or 4.7's in one case yet. But hopefully should have my mind made up in the next day or 2 and get that stuff ordered. Its still got a long way to go but this week should get me motivated with the front axle being hung ect.

Lemme borrow your BL inners and birfs for my Texas trip, buddy! :D

Sam forgot to mention how thankful he was for me setting up his gears while he drove to Greensboro :) I'll let him fill you guys in on why :D Beadlocks should be on the way soon... Old 38's and Allieds still for sale (shameless plug)...

Hey hey hey now....I was there till the carrier went in. Then you have priorities. I have a feeling next weekend Ill be on my own again though since his "priority" is coming in town. :D

And Rich, why dont you just buy the whole axle? Better yet buy the front AND rear! You always need spares. :D

Because I have an FJ80 axle I need to build, and I can't justify spending $650 just to get 1/2 of it back when I sell it. ;)

both of ya'lls priority will be there friday night and saturday morning!!! I think i will get there around 630ish, so be prepared.

Haha sounds good BennyBoy. Shall we foose? Kath still wants to take ya on. Your driving the cherokee down so we can cruise the mall and hooters again right?

tell her to bring it on friday night, there is nothing wrong with the 84 celica, made burn outs with the rear wheel drive is good enought for hooters.

Got more done this weekend. The front is under with the YJ leafs and its looking pretty good. Got more parts including the bobby long joints that are PIMP. These things are strait beef and I see the 35 spline outter breaking before these do. Also got the knuckles back on and High steer arms on. The BTF arms are sick. The steering should be strait ridiculouse with the stuff Dan talked me into. :D Anyways on to the pics....

Sam. when are you gonna begin modding the mini crawler? Done some more to mine, and a little progress on the full size ones.

Ohh the modifications to the mini-crawler are soon to take place. Need to get this thing lower and get more belly clearance...hmmmmmm :D

We've been making steady progress. We should get over to a buddy's shop in the next week or so, and we'll be able to mill the dually hubs down to a reasonable width. Also, the 4.7's should be here early next week for the Toy Case. Still looking for a 14 bolt if anyone has one available...

How wide is the Chevy dually axle.. 77"?
