And so it begins....again....

Samuel, I have a shot at a set of cheap ford axles...interested in the rear 60 or dead set on the 14 bolt?...front 44 is going under the Taco...(say what?!...build up starts soon...)

or...I'll sell you my 14 bolt...shaved and ready for links...just find me a set of casters too so i can roll my pos around...

'holla'...

yea thats exactly what you need a wheelable shop truck....NOT!!! What up boonies!!!

Mac is going to need a bigger trailer.

Looking good though. A little wide at the moment....for my taste at least.

Seth

Seth - in that pic, the hubs still need to be turned down. It'll be narrower, for sure. Still waiting on wheels to arrive, and need a 14bolt. What do you think about that one you found, Seth? Still available? We need to eat some dinner soon, and I need to snag some 1.75 .250 wall from you once we get some measurements. Anyone know of a good tranny shop? Or a "Building a TH350 For Dummies" manual? Ha!

Allied beadlocks finally showed up on Friday, and Sam, Ben and Nate got the 42" IROKs mounted this weekend. They look sick, no doubt. Pics to follow shortly...

sam, progress? done yet?

Not done yet! Workin on it though. Progress has been slow the past couple of weeks with everything just being crazy. I have a 14bolt and it is getting shaved this sunday...gears should ship out on the 17th (they have been backordered for a while). All in all it is coming together. I am sick and laying out of school today so i may be able to sneak down to the shop and snap a few pics.

Sambone...I can't wait to see some pics bro. I have been seeing a couple Mogs around here, they are pretty dang sweet, I will try and get some pics soon if possible. Peace duder

c'mon sam, if youre gonna lay out of school, at least get us some pics! Who did you have turn down the dualy hubs?

Alright alright...here are some pics. It doenst look like much has been done but it is coming together. The tierod is done, just need to weld it up. The tierod and drag link are both going to be 1.75" .250 wall with 7/8's hymes. I dont think i will bend it...especialy considering the tierod is behind the axle :D . Gears (for the 14bolt) and lockouts(to finish the 60) should have shipped out today and Seth from Rockmonky4x4 and I are going to be shaving the 14bolt on sunday.

Oh and as you can see the Wallyworld crawler is also going through its second stage of buildup. Dave you better be working on yours because all of our cralwers are going to be comp ready :D.

Sorry the pics are dark...for some reason Kodak software isnt letting me use the photo shop to lighten my pics.

When we gonna bail some more hay?

Well its spring break for Charlotte Meck. Schools so I got this whole week to get some work done. Got alot on my plate but I should be able to make decent headway this week. Got the rear under by myself this afternoon (geez 14bolts are heavy to move around by yourself) and got it sitting on its tires to get pinion angle and figure center up the axle. Couldnt resist slapin' the rear tires on and rolling her out to see what it looked like (not to mention to shop needed a major cleaning). A little high for my taste so i may end up pulling some leafs out front and rear but it sits really level. Also just got the 14 bolt pulled out again to do the traction bar mounts and shock tabs so I may have another update tommaro night if i am not too lazy. :D

looks good Sambo. Projected completion date?

Thanks guys. Projected completion date? hmmmm more sooner than later. :D I once i get the tranny done everything should move pretty quick. Hopefully it will all start to come together pretty soon. Still need 14bolt gears if you know anyone with some 5.13's laying around. They have been out of stock for months from Randys. :(

That just totally made my day! Nice work BroHam! Sorry I could not be there to help.

Deano! Hope Germany is treating you well man. I figured you would get a kick out of seeing it on all 4's. Now you just need to talk Adam into puting a solid axle in your old truck. :D

We'll be bailing hay in a few months, and I'm counting on your tractor driving skills :driver: It's tough being stuck here in a shirt and tie while your brother is at home working on his junk. We made some calculations and plans on Monday night, and I'll say that he'll be driving it to school before the end of the semester this year...
