And so it begins....

Worked on the rad mount today here at the house. It mounts to 2 factory spots on a 3x3x.25 alum angle and will be captured on the side bolts also, still waiting to see what fan to run.

I like this a lot can't wait to see this thing in person at The Flats

Dropped off some parts for Snappy last evening and hungout for a few hours of wrenching/fab time (Disclaimer: I was only following instructions and can take no credit/blame for anything that breaks or falls off racing! ). Got the rad/shroud/e-fan/grill installed, tabs for the grill tacked in and installed. Then turned to the new bumper/winch combo and orbital mount...

It's coming together nicely and should have no issues contending!

Thanks again for the "therapy" bro! I'll stop by again as time allows

Hell ya man!

Started a little wiring here at the house tonight. This plate will be mounted with rubber isolators off the firewall. Ran out of relays, I need 2 more and 2 transfer banks....
Wiring is easy as long as you take it one wire at a time!!

What kind of numbers are you shooting for with that engine? Hp/tq?

275-280 hp.... tq? ??? We did some gasket matching porting and a 3.5 pulley to up the boost. We went on the safe side with supercharger puller to keep heat down.

I already have 12volt guy panel. The dash is a simple flat panel so we will see what I need this week.

Oh, I guess when you were talking about wanting a switch panel you must have been talking about the buggy.

You get my PM about the engraver?

Yeap I have a couple at the shop. Swing by on Monday night and grab them and let's see what you can do. If you can get the engraving going I will remake the switch panel, I would love to have one labeled....

Well, I'm not up and running yet, actually having the engraver is the least of my worries (I will have to make a mount to hold it anyways), IF I was to even make you a switch panel before the march race, I highly doubt it would be engraved by then. I need to cut some stuff out for the Winston-Salem gun show before I do anything, and I REALLY need some practice on CAD, I can't get past making simple brackets and stuff so far!!

Jeep is looking nice though!

Get and use AutoCAD! learn that and its easy!

I'm surprised to see a 7 slot grill... Figured it would be down to about 4 or 5 at the most...

Trying to stay in the spirit of the class.... plus that's alot of work to gain clearance that is not needed and lose places to hide stuff!

Made side panels to mounts stuff on and keep out the mud tonight. Got the ps res, rad overflow, oil filter, trans cooler, ps cooler, clutch pedal master all mounted. Planned out the batteries, fuel cut offs, pump and filters.... goes to get plumbed tomorrow night.
