Caught a few crappie on Saturday while it drizzled rain. My boy had the most fun fighting and finally landing this little 5lb cat on one of the 10' crappie rods. He is addicted...LOL

I've only salt water fished twice. It's a good thing I live so far away from the coast. The first pic is all I caught on my first trip in Destin, FL. The rest are just off shore out of the Little River Inlet north of Myrtle, all caught on my second trip. I do a lot of freshwater fishing but haven't caught anything really big enough to share.

First catch of the day. My little man caught a puffer.

I'd be homeless living in a john boat if I lived closer to the salt more than likely...

Had a great fishing weekend! Caught 20+ shellcracker within the first 3 hours. Blues, channels, flatheads all day and all night. Caught and released over 20 striper between 16-30". My 40qt cooler didn't come close to cuttin it this trip.

I've been catching so many stripers lately, I'm sick of reeling them in. Few of them have been large enough to keep with some exceeding 30"+. I stood on a sandbar and cast out a skitterpop lure into 2' of water and caught about 10 back to back. They are fun to catch!

Nice redfish! I target those a lot when near shore fishing. Lots of fun and great eating!

That's kinda like asking a man to sleep with his wife!!

Except he would at least consider the proposal before giving up his fishing spot!

Hell, when we go fishing, we even sometimes wrap up our stick baits to keep others from knowing what we are using especially when you end up drawing a crowd because of the fish you are catching on the beach and nobody else is. :D

Notice my very vague description

Stripers are fun as hell to catch, in the river.

I love fishing the Congaree and the Wateree for them. The "new" regulations a couple years back basically ruined it for me though. Hard to travel almost 2 hours each way for 3 fish.

Now in contrast, striper fishing in the lake is as boring as fishing gets.

Yeah. The new regulation is crazy, sort of. I understand why it's that way though. I just catch and release anything regardless 99% of the time, unless my retired neighbor Mr Butler wants some catfish to make a stew or simething. I trade him about 20 lbs of fresh catfish filets for a deer tenderloin and I'm glad to do it.

The striker regs are almost as strict as the redfish! Hard to justify a a long weekend trip for 1 fish a day. :(

Covina are now the same. Killin us
