Anybody got some spare garage space?

I need to store my Jeep for up to six months, preferably between here and northern VA. My plan is to use a storage facility, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if any of the NC4x4 regulars had some spare space to save myself some coin.

I have a chicken house

I have a 24x36 I was about to clean out and sell, I could rent out for the next 6 months. I'd be at $350-400/mo though.

Would it fit in a conex container? I have one on site. Would be observed daily.

Does it need to be garage kept? I've got a gravel pad next to my garage you could park it on. If it had to be inside I can move a couple things around and make it work if you can't find anything else. Send me a text if you want.

How many miles a week are you allowing the jeep to be driven (you know....to keep things lubed :huggy:)
If it gets to stay in your nice big garage with your other Jeeps I would expect nothing less than you to exercise it... plus I could probably catch glimpses of it on Insta.

I would assume so, just a simple old CJ.

I'll let you know! I'd rather have it stored inside somewhere since I couldn't see it daily though, so we'll see.

Just sell it. If you take it to Nova, it's just going to rot.

Don't listen to the naysayers, bring it up here. Don't run it on the roads in the winter, and it'll be fine. And if you want to wheel it, there are plenty of places to go to, Just let @RatLabGuy and myself know when you're ready, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to use it!

Seriously....
No driving on winter roads = no salt = no rust.
After being here 12 years, the only reason my 4runner rusted in the body panels is bc my dumbass left ou t sitting out topless for a year and rain water leacged in and ate it inside out.
Frame is fine.

Wanted to follow up on this. I'm going to keep it outside at my mom's house under a tarp until we move from the apartment... I don't know why I didn't think about that before. It lived outside for the past 5 years, six more months won't hurt it.

You could also get one of those popup tent garages from Harbor freight, they are about $175 or something.

If you want to bring it to clover i could probably find space in a shed. Just call me brother!
