As of October 20th, 2008 - Houston who is apparently really good...isnt ranked at all.
The ranking for FCS and FBS work the same way folks, its dependent on HOW GOOD OF A TEAM YOU ARE!

ASU will stomp ECU. You ECU people beat two ranked team then lose to schools like Johnston and Wales and Harry's barber school. Cockiness is always what kills teams. Can't wait till next year.

Michigan and Wake Forest have both said "Thanks for playing us but do NOT come back". I would like to see ECU added to that list. Although it would be nice to see this become a rivalry game. The Battle for the Old Mountain Jug against Western just doesn't cut it for being a rivalry anymore. All things considered, I think that this game will probably be one of the better of the season for BOTH teams as long as they show up to play.

ASU does have a good team, but is realitive. Put them up against a top notch program and Div IA and they end up being a sub-par competitor. If 1 big game against 1 top ranked team is the "highlight" of the season schedule, it'll be a rude awakening should they attempt to play more top notch schools (more than 1 per season)
Playing good for 1 game against a DIA team may give them some attention, but to have to do it every week and still be competitive all season takes a lot more than I think ASU has to give.

Everyone thinks our Michigan win was a fluke and a one hit wonder. How does everyone explain three consecutive National Championships? Were those flukes as well?
I really hope this game becomes a rivalry because I think these two schools have some of the most dedicated fans of any school in NC. Also most of our graduates stay in the state, so the fan base is huge.
I have to admit that I like ECU and always pull for them, EXCEPT for this game hahaha!

Can't wait for this game. Wasn't too long ago ECU was at the bottom of the shitheap and we've made great progress, so I'm not going to say ASU can't pull an upset--just that they probably won't

I hate ECU. Why because I'm a State Fan and we're tired of their shit too. I'd love to go to this game and have an NC4x4 ASU tailgate for it too. I've never been to an App game.
