[Apr 20, 2012] Down & Dirty for Life - A Cancer Benefit & Open Ride at The Flats (Marion, NC)

There should be a group from app 4x4 there

I got some cards mailed out today for those who have requested. We didn't have a lot so I mailed what I could. If you need more, just let me know.
Let me know what else I can help with?

cards and Flyers

I could put some up at our front counter to pass out to customers when they come in.

This should be a great event and turn out.
Come on out and spend the weekend having fun and supporting a great cause!

Get me some fliers, we will pass them out at the shop

We are having a workday tomorrow to do some maintenance on the trails and to make a few changes. This event will be a fun time for everyone!!!!:driver:

Quilt

Here is a pic of the Cancer Awareness Quilt that will be up for raffle. It is handmade by a lady who lost sisters to cancer, and it is being hand quilted by a cancer survivor. Hand quilted quilts are expensive to buy. This one features every cancer ribbon color. We will be preselling raffle tickets at the ECORS race on March 17th thanks to the great ECORS guys. We will also have more info on the other items that will be in the raffle. Thank you all for your support.

We will be there for sure.
My wife is big on the relay for life here in Weaverville
Having lost her mom 2 years ago.
June 1st is relay this year and I think she would enjoy wheelin for a casue.
Thanks for putting this together.
Hopefully I can talk some of my fellow scout buddies to come.

Planning to be there with either the rebuilt Commando for a shakedown, or piddling around on the bunny trails with the CJ.

This event is approaching fast, and I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped us with this in any way. Whether you have helped promote the event, donated prizes, or just plan on coming out to participate in the fun. This has been a dream for a long time, and the great community here has helped make this possible. I've met a lot of good people and I'm sure I'll meet many more once April 20-22 rolls around. I am very excited. Thank you all!

Got some more raffle prizes to post later. Just wanted to thank everyone that came out to ECORS at the flats this weekend and made our "pre-run" a big success. It was a great feeling seeing that we had a lot of support and help to make this happen. Thanks to everyone who bought a 50/50 ticket or a raffle ticket or an American Cancer Society item. Special thanks to Buckeye Performance who made a cash donation of $61 which was half of the 50/50 drawing.

Going to get some pics up later today, and thank some vendors who are helping us.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our tent yesterday and thanks to ECORS for giving us a spot and welcoming us the way they did. We couldn't have done it without Rob and Ron.

Can't wait til April 20-22 for our main event. Judging by yesterday's preliminary run, it should be a huge success. Thanks everyone.

Special prize here. Smittybilt XRC8 8000 pound winch. Courtesy of all cancer survivors, in honor of all those we have lost to cancer, and all those who are currently fighting. Can't wait to give out these prizes. Special thanks to everyone who has helped us make this happen.
