No, but why not, it will at least record the truth.

Leon Panetta told U.S. troops in Italy it is clear something needs to be done to protect school children so "that the nuts that are out there will not use these kinds of weapons to wipe them out.”
FYI A bit of original wording is missing from that. Primarily in point #2.
This missing part in your link is added back in red above.2. Remove needless legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors from asking their patients about guns in their homes.

In case you aren't aware, the HIPPA includes the patient doctor confidentiality agreement. While I do believe the communication needs to be much better so that proper background checks can be done in the cases of medicated and mentally disabled persons, I believe this has the potential to open up quite a few loop holes. Namely number 16. While you may think you would never answer that question if a doctor asks about guns in your home, kids say the darndest things...
Unless she purchased it prior to 1994, it was not in the state legally to start with. Connecticut has had it's own assault rifle ban since 1994, that did not expire in 2004. And possession of any "assault rifle" after 1994 is a Class D felony, so this would restrict her from owning it even if she bought it out of state and transported it in, or bought it from a private seller. The "gun control" laws failed to keep it out of her hands, and therefore her reckless handling and storage failed to keep her deranged son from stealing them. The part that aggrivates me the most about this whole thing is that they are using the CT shootings to spring board this whole thing when in fact, the guns were purchased legally and then STOLEN. It doesn't matter if they were stolen by her son or some random street thug, they were STOLEN.

Although Bushmaster did offer a CT legal option, since to be considered an "assault" rifle, it had to have a detachable magazine (obviously), and two more options, such as a pistol grip (which it of course had), the adjustable stock would do the AR-15 in, but Bushmaster's rifle had a pinned stock that would not adjust. SO either it was not actually an "Assault rifle" by CT's standards, or it was in the state illegally to start with by their ban.

I think it was a hoax to take the heat off clinton and obama over the Bengassi problem. First it was an assult weapon, the medical examiner said most of the kids were shot with the long gun. Now the long gun never left the trunk of the car and four hand guns were found in the school. Seems like a very bad fema deal gone wrong. Why would they have a memorial service there and obama go off on a gun control speech? That just seems disrespectful to the children that were killed. Also what happened to the other guys that they caught in the woods running from the school? Way too much crap doesn't add up.
LOLIf you think the government murdered 20-odd first graders just so the media wouldn't talk so much about Benghazi (which they really weren't covering anyway), then you might as well put a shotgun in your mouth. It ain't like you've got anything to live for at this point.
I don't think 20 kids were shot and killed. If you think your government won't go to such extremes you are living under a rock
Do any of you think your government doesn't or wouldn't kill children?
lmaoI honestly think this violence comes from the first person shooter games. I know there have been these shooter games since the regular Nintendo but they have gotten a lot more violent over the past few years. I believe these type games are influencing kids more and more and especially have a bigger impact on those with mental issues (ex. above post by boatedwagon).
But this is just my opinion.
