Your more than welcome to bring your kids, The flats is a very family friendly event, I have a 6 and 4 year sons that love it also. There will be some military vehicles there for the kids to look at also, My son is really hoping the Crawler Table is there. Maybe we can let them play together, They love to meet friends.
 
Where are the flats?I think we would like to try to make it out.
 
I'm going to make this ride too. I've got two new used axles installed, and installed my welded carrier in another used third. Also had to install some new brake shoes, and rebuild the wheel cylinders. The E-brake works now for the first time since I bought the thing, lol, and the brakes work better than ever.

In an effort to maximize all funds taken in and minimize expenditures We will not be supplying maps and copies of rules. Unless someone wants to print some off and bring them to us, they will not be available this time.

Itinerary For the Benefit at the Flats 7/24/10

Show and Shine starts at 8:30am
Show and Shine ends at 10:30am

Games/event competitions start at 9:00am


Dunking booth Starts at 12:00 Ends at 2:00
Table Crawl begins at 10:30 ends at 3:00 (this is not part of the over-all, play as many
Times as you want to.)

We will also have some Rock Crawlers that you can drive or ride in for a donation

We plan on some kids games and fun stuff to do.

Lunch will be prepared by Terry Moorefield AKA Your Hot Dog Guy, One of the best hot dogs you'll ever
have the pleasure to purchase.

Games events end at 3:00

Trail riding can start as soon as you have completed the show and shine portion.
You can do the events then go play or you can go play and come back to compete.
Events end at 3:00, if you are late, sorry. This gives us time to crunch all the numbers and determine the winners. What are the games/events? it’s a secret! I alone know the details. Anyone who registers to compete, can play. No clear advantage for stock or all out buggy.

At the end of the raffle, anyone who has won something they do not want, can not use or just wants to re-donate the item, there will be an auction, and anyone can bid on this item.

Trophy awards after the auction

There will be camping Friday evening, No trail riding on Friday, sorry
There will also be camping Saturday night. If you wish to ride the trails Sunday
There will be an additional charge of $10 for driver and rig, and $5 for passengers/spectators
 
Rules

No Alcohol on premises
No illegal drugs
Wheeling can start at 9:00am and end at 9:30pm
Speed Limit is 5mph in parking area's and high traffic areas. This includes all main connecting roads. Be courteous not to stir up a lot of dust
Seat belts are required at all times vehicle is in operation
A fire extinguisher is required at all times for each vehicle
4 wheelers are not allowed except for members and family members.
No Motor Cycles are permitted on the property.
No Alcohol
If you have a vehicle with a loud exhaust use common courtesy in
the high traffic areas and camping areas. Wait till you are in the woods
Be safe and courteous to others at all times
Keep all pets leashed at all times. Be prepared to scoop poop.
No Alcohol
Camp fires allowed, if you have a fire ring. If you move our rocks to make one, please place them back

No trail Riding on Friday, Pretty much they are opening the gates to allow people to come in early and camp Friday.

Riding is allowed on Saturday after the Show and Shine competition around 10am or so

If you choose to stay Saturday Night there will be an additional cost for Sunday, $10 per Rig and $5 Passenger

Do you have to be present to win? I'll probably be heading home around 3-4pm.
 
Anyone comming that has some softballs? I have the dunk tank, a way to fill it, but need the softballs to actually run the game. Let me know PLEASE!
