What is the best route for towing from I40 in New Mexico up to Moab? Heading out to EJS tomorrow.
Thanks.

I'll have to look at the trip map that I took when Jason was leading us out there, but we cross the tip of Colorado on our way in.
On the way out we went thru Navajo nation and that was a HUGE mistake that I'll never make again.

Coming south in the RV coming home, we went Shiprock → Farmington → Cuba → Albq.
Roads were decent. Mostly US highways iirc.

I40 thru NM is the worst interstate i have ever been on.

When I went that route in the past we went 40 to 491 stopped in Gallup before heading North on 491 going through Shiprock, Cortez and taking 191 at Monticello taking you to Moab. Look forward to seeing you there this year.

Depends on what you want to see on the way. Weather is improving, so I80 and I70 are both options. Would be good to avoid Denver traffic if possible. I40 to 550 in ABQ is the way we've gone out most often, but usually come back via 70 just to change things up.

Time wise it's a wash.
