4.88 gears
Yukon chromolly shafts with c clip elim
Detroit locker in the 8.8
Solid front diff cover
Front adjustable upper arms

Did you ever use that D30 you bought from me a while back?

I came to the conclusion I wasn't going to go bigger than the 33" TSLs anytime in the near future, so I ended up selling the axle to someone that was wanting to run 35s

Well I have been driving the jeep around the city with the new 4.88s, and I must say I love it, the 4.88s and the 35" BFG ATs are a great combination in the city. 5th gear and 65mph does give a little higher RPM but nothing unbearable. So glad I went 4.88s and not 4.56s.

Officially summer for me, took the top and doors off!

Took the jeep to the Outer Banks this past weekend. It was fun, but getting all the sand out is a going to be a PITA.

Jeep made some friends at the Food Lion one day

My dad is in the passenger seat, he is 75 and has never ridden on the beach before and he was having a blast. It was also his first time riding in my jeep.

And I took this picture just to post on here haha

Yup!

That's why I won't take mine down there. Took the exploder when we stayed at a house on the 4x4 beach at Corolla a few years back. Mashed on some of the trails, had a blast. I found sand in places months later. But the kicker was, I changed the spark plug wires A YEAR LATER and had to vacuum out around the plug wires before pulling the plugs.

After that, we stay in Kill Devil hills and rent a JK from the Jeep rental place down there

THAT was awesome

I am about done with the first tire (I only get to work on it an hour or so at a time, and I am finally over the learning curve.

My question is: when grooving TSLs does any one groove the outside lugs like this picture?

Or should I just leave the outer lugs alone?

Quick release for the front windshield, I think the jeep looks pretty good without the windshield

How did you do the windshield quick release? Cut the factory pins?

I should have taken a picture but yes, cut the factory pins, it was PITA, but will be worth it

Gotcha it's real clean I like it.

It is probably the best mod I have made, after catching the stock low hanging shovel of a skid plate on every rock, and after crushing my oil pan, I knew it was time for some better protection under there

Finally finished grooving all the TSLs, here is all the rubber removed from 4 33" TSLs
