They're the ONLY reason to tune a diesel to roll coal

They're just cyclists, why can't you pass them and go about your business...? Are they any different than a slow car or the many slow Jeeps (or especially Samis)? Are they not allowed on your personal road for some reason?

They damn sure didn't pay the taxes I paid to drive on that road, nor do they obey any of the traffic laws while ON that road. Hard to pass a group of 50 in blind curves

20-146. Drive on right side of highway; exceptions. (b) Upon all highways any vehicle proceeding at less than the legal maximum speed limit shall be driven in the right-hand lane then available for thru traffic, or as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the highway, except when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction or when preparing for a left turn.

Just to clarify!.......

Nothing against road bikes other than get the fuck over and start obeying the damn traffic laws. I almost killed one in downtown Asheville a couple days ago in my work truck when he ran a red light right in front of me. It must have been my fault by the finger I received from the idiot. He's lucky I wasn't in my personal truck or Jeep because his ass would have been ran over.

They aren't on the road in their car, are they?
I have a bike your point?
You said they didn't pay road taxes like you do. I would bet a Sun-Drop that each of them owns at least 1 car, and therefore does pay taxes just like you.
Personally, I only mountain bike, I don't ride on the road. I'll take my chances with trees instead of road rage.

Are they on the road in that car in this pic?

As a result, they are laying claim to the entire lane as if they do "see above quoted requirement for keeping right"

Same

I live up the street from a 4 way stop that's some popular route for road bikers. Watching them blow thru that 4way 50 at a time DEMANDING you just sit and wait for them all to break the law while riding 3 wide daring you to pass kind of grates on your nerves after a few years.

Honestly I'm shocked this doesn't happen weekly

I pay highway use tax for my wifes camry does that mean I can hop in my peterbilt with no tags and take up the whole highway impeding the flow of traffic?

The answer is No. Just as these entitled pricks can't hop on there huffy and take up the whole highway.

OK since you guys have started a senseless pissing match and I have nothing better to do - I suggest you read this a little more closely.
There is a lot of room for interpretation here - where does it say you MUST stay on the edge? B/c to me this sounds optional especially if not on a highway.

Now, is that a good idea? NO. Is it a cool thing to do? NO. Do bikes have to follow all the other laws, but often don't? YES.

I'd much rather them stay in a tight pack so that i can find room to pass 50 of them 50ft long instead of spread out over 250ft single file. I have a road bike, I have a (few too many) mountain bike(s). I only ride the road bike when I'm at the beach on the actual island of Ocean Isle. I don't trust people in cars when I'm in a car, and I certainly don't trust them if I'm on a bike.

Caught this one in asheboro. Couldn't get a better pic but it has one of those raging homo $2k grills and was only running his outter rear tires.

Does anyone remember the times when having a modded diesel truck was a nice thing to have? Not these Peterbilt wanna be fag-a-trons that run the roads today. Or am I just showing my age?

I thought duallys were safe, but I now fear that the price will skyrocket and this will be the next trend. Wait til they figure out you can run the front wheels flipped out, and then we'll see some really stupid stuff.
