He definitely had them all strapped down pretty good...so at least they can't gig him for failure to secure his load!

Is that's an auxiliary gas tank in the bed? Looks like it's about as big as a home heating oil tank. Where's he driving to? South America?

Yep, giant fuel tank. I didn’t crawl under to see just how sturdy the underside was mounted, but those straps were tied to eyebolts through the bed. Round tank with no support.
