Char-Meck statutes. Personally, I think it's ridiculous. Somebody wants to park in their grass, it's their property and their right. However, various cities and counties see otherwise. http://charmeck.org/city/charlotte/transportation/parking/pages/parking on front lawns.aspx
It appears there's usually an exception for the occasional party where parking is scarce. I don't know what the rules are in Trinity. High Point tried to, and may have passed a "no grass" parking law. If they try to do that here, I may just pave my front yard.
