Building a Shop on a budget...(My Shop Project Build)

With the weather being so nice I started to clean up again and first on my list is to clean up the floor and either get rid of extra stuff or put it away.. two of the things I had laying around are a cj grill and hood. and I have always wanted an awning over my walk in door so what better use of them then to make an awning :)

welded the two together

sanded and then painted them

I asked the painter for a quote to paint my shop and he never gave me one so I decided to do it myself..

as you can see in the next pics the side colors do not match the front color.. the plan was to have the shop color match the house exterior paint and well that did not go as planned

Only took a year to get the floor done

Some day maybe I can actually do the shop floor

Been along time of just working on projects. So I finally decided to organize.

Ripped out old cabinets put in new tool boxes on sale from HF. And made a work bench.

Also upgrade big tool box with another sale item at HomeDepot.

Also started to add some spray insulation.

Lots more to do but finally seeing a light at end of tunnel.

How's the adherence on the spray foam? Did you do anything to prep it? I want to spray foam my walls, but worry about it staying attached, especially with all the dust and spider webs on there.

Sticks great. I pulled on it and it stayed.

All I did was wipe each wall down with a rag

Still organizing, cleaning and adding better tools

Been wanting a tig for a while. And finally the time has arrived.
