Cl find of the day

Isn't a grand Cherokee 5spd like super rare?? I've never seen one or knew they existed.
They are rare from the factory, but its not uncommon to see people swap.

'79 Dodge lil red express - $6500
'79 Dodge lil red express

This is a 1979 Lil Red Express with 28000 miles on odometer. It has been barn kept for the past 20 years. It is a numbers matching vehicle and is All original. The rear bumper had been replaced and the hood, but to my knowledge nothing else. It has the 360 motor with a 727 trans and the 3.55:1 rear gear ratio. The truck is in good shape and is 1 of 7000 ever made and was the fastest vehicle made in 78 and 79 beating the corvette and every other American muscle car of those years. The truck starts right up Everytime and drives but needs a good going over as it hasn't had miles put on it in years. I have changed the oil and flushed radiator and in the process of tuning it up. I have the original bench seat and rims as well as another cab, grille, doors, windows, vent windows, fenders, and some more parts lying around. The floor on the truck now is rusted out, but I have a new floor pan to be welded in to keep the truck original instead of replacing the cab. It is really a nice find and would not take allot to get her back into great shape. Feel free to call or text with any questions, leave a voicemail if I don't answer. Thanks for looking. I am open to trades. I need a full-size Chevy truck or nice SUV to ride my kids in.

Buddy of mine has one sitting under a shed rotting away with a hemi sitting in it. It was a previous restoration but it needs a lot more now.

Saw one for sale here in Hartsville not long ago. Damn thing looked new. I was afraid to ask the price. It never ceases to amaze me what I see in this little town.

1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief S Unrestored 37,521 1 Owner Miles! - $25500 (OBO Wilmington, NC)
1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief S Unrestored 37,521 1 Owner Miles!

As most know, the remaining Cherokee Chief S models out there are far and few between but, when you couple that with the fact that this example is unrestored, in exceptional conditions (inside, outside and mechanically), one owner and with less than 38k original miles it may very well one of a kind (considering color and the manual transmission).

For options, gearing and such please refer the window sticker label pictured. I have many additional pictures and can take HD video upon request.

As stated she's equipped with the 4 speed manual transmission and the V8 360 with the 2 barrel carburetor. I just completed an 800+ mile trip (bringing it to Wilmington, NC) and since I've added another 500 or so, to the odometer as she's currently driven daily, always performing flawlessly. The looks, nods, thumbs up and conversations you will experience (like it or not) are non-stop so be prepared!

Purchased off the showroom floor and daily driven for the first three years. In subsequent years she was used for occasional weekend outings and in the annual town parade. When not in use she was always under cover and in the garage.

Tires are newer (less than two years old and less the 2000 miles. She fires right up with just a pedal pump (set the choke) and a light turn of the key. Drives and brakes straight at/from any speed. As expected, with 38k miles oil consumption is zero to negligible. She doesn't smoke one puff upon startup, even on the coldest mornings. All original factory emission controls are still in place and working 100%. Recent complete tune-up included; professional rebuilding of the carburetor, distributor cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires, ignition coil, ignition module. And, as well, the complete PCV system was inspected and given a complete bill of health. Fluids were flushed/replaced throughout. She has always been babied and serviced ahead of schedule (time or mileage).

No accidents 95% original factory finish non-smokers

As stated she's cosmetically excellent inside and outside with exception to paint touch ups here and there and the driver's seat bolster needs repair (from sliding in and out).

Being clear here...EVERYTHING WORKS as new including the clock and the original radio (there are no surprises)!

Original keys, selling dealer key fob, owner's manual, original showroom brochure and window sticker copy along with every other piece of paper conveyed by the dealer at delivery will be handed to the new owner. Clean and clear title in hand.

This is, more than likely, a once in a lifetime opportunity for the true FSJ Jeep enthusiast/collector.

Price: $25,500.00 somewhat negotiable but do not expect a response to LOWBALL offers. Please serious buyers (money on hand) only! No trade offers please. I will not finance any portion of the purchase price. I will assist in shipping or otherwise in any way I can.

Thanks for looking!

Mike

Don’t see how those will bring anywhere near that much.
