Pretty sweet looking XJ.... except the "new" rear axle is a D35, and it doesn't seem to have a transfer case.....overlanding FAIL!

"Strong" and "305" are not words I typically put together without a qualifier of some sort.....

always liked the G-bodies, perhaps because outside of the GN and T-Type they have almost zero resale?

That is really cool and well done, but that extra zero in the price sure messes it up. Otherwise Dylan and I could go halves on it.

Sent an email asking when the timing belt was last replaced....below is the response I got back

"it is a diesel .... the body will fall apart before the engine does

it runs great .. no spark plugs in a diesel ... to answer your question .. never needed to work on the engine

Yea he's an idiot.... Mine 14 required 120K mile interval. Dealer told em it actually varies per model year.

That probably just means "I took it to the dealer and told them to do the stuff to it", but to someone knowledgeable, it's embarrassingly ignorant.
