Copper Crawler buggy build

Those are killer gussets. I like that alot. I might have to steal that idea. . . . :D

thanks whitneyj; i struggled with what to do there for weeks, thats why it was last "major" fab i did. and actually ended up using my initial design. something to be said for first instinct. steal away brother. lol

hell yeah dude, looks great!

How the heck do you blend the sheet into the tube so well?!?!

Oh yeah, looks killer btw :D

I really dig the use the dimple dies. I'm curious as to how much weight you lost doing that and how much strength (stiffness?) you gained.

yea i am too, i shoulda put em all in a bucket and weighed them upon completion.

the blending just takes patience and a good flap wheel and i keep multiple grinders (4) loaded with different wheels all the time saves switching discs.

just wore out my second grinder of the build tonight.

yea that was my initial plan. i had hoped they would fit in these openings if they were switched and inverted, but they would have been very vunerable and look like a second thought, therefore going with the typical buggy ovals. using the lights from rides with the reverse white leds around the circumference. plan to keep my eyes peeled for a tailight in the future that may fit the "car" in this opening, i can always modify later.

dude your getting so much done, stuff I've probably forgot until a pre run (like oh crap nothing to grab onto)

you gotta have one of them dry erase boards with a punch chart on it.
